i am reliably informed that the following will fix this issue.

Please fix this by
1. Closing Dreamweaver
2. Set your clock to the correct time if it isn’t already so
3. delete WinFileCache*.dat from
C:\Documents and Settings\[Your username]\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Configuration
4. Start Dreamweaver and use it as usually

I just had this problem happen to me. I tried your fix and can happily say that it seems to have worked. Thanks for the info.

YES! THANK YOU! This was driving me CRAZY! Then today, it finally gave me a memory address of the failure. Then I googled “dreamweaver crash 00adab57″ and viola! There your post was in all its glory. Thank you!
